CAPITAL PROJECT / EQUIPMENT REQUEST
DEPARTMENT: SUBMITTED BY:
Performing Arts Ida Pappas
PROJECT / EQUIPMENT TITLE:
(GMS) Wenger Signature Choral Risers
TOTAL PROJECT / EQUIPMENT COST:
$10,475 (without chair carts) or $12,655 (with chair carts)
DESCRIPTION:
Wenger is the standard in music equipment, providing the best designs and customer service.
They have suppied all our other chairs and carts in CHS.
PURPOSE AND JUSTIFICATION:
The current situation with chairs in the GMS music classrooms is dire. The old 1970 bucket
seats that are curretly in use are actually a physical struggle for students. The directors
require students to sit on the edge of the seat for proper breath support and technique, in
order to access the curriculum. This is not possible with this chair, and students strain
themselves to sit up, or settle with mediocre results. The Wenger student chair is designed for
exactly this purpose, with this size student in mind. The chair carts allow us to move the chairs
for performance in a reasonable amount of time. This will reach all students in the disctrict in
grades 6-8.

CAPITAL PROJECT / EQUIPMENT REQUEST
DEPARTMENT: SUBMITTED BY:
Hansen Elementary Peter Boucher
PROJECT / EQUIPMENT TITLE:
Mobile Announcement System
TOTAL PROJECT / EQUIPMENT COST:
$3,867
DESCRIPTION:
Purchase of an announcement system that would work in many areas of our building for
special events and smaller programs. This would allow us to cease borrowing other schools'
systems.
PURPOSE AND JUSTIFICATION:
Purchase and implementation of this equipment would allow us to be more effective in many
large group environments both indoors and outdoors. Currently we do not have the capability
to host any small group setting programs with the augmentation of an announcement system.
A mobile system would allow us to maximize our funds as we depend upon one "home" system
in multiple areas of the building.

Michael-
I am really not sure about the price at this moment. It depends on the configurations within the
equipment I would say roughly $250-$300 and I'm guessing. As far a quantity we will be able
to support that size order and for imaging we also do that as well. So just let me know what
you want me to do.
I am at MassCue and I know that you mention something about coming. What day were you
thinking about coming? Think I may be able to help you get in with me tomorrow or if you
wanted to come today so let me know that you want to do.

Hi Dewayne,
Planning for Capital next year if I was looking to get roughly 430 desktop Elite 8100's that you
have now for $409 each, you think we could get those somewhere in the $200's range ?
Also what about the quantites, will Insight be able to handle some of that ? Do you do imaging
too ??
Thanks
Michael Wentland
