Middleton, Jody From: Scollins, William Sent: Wednesday, December 29, 2021 11:06 AM To: Middleton, Jody Subject: Budget 910 Jody, I’ve done some preliminary calculations based on our conversation regarding open contracts. | recommend that you include the amount of $490,000 on line item 19101-51950 (Contract Provision) in department 910 for FY 23. This should REPLACE the $276,696 that is on this line in FY ’22. So a net increase on this line of $113,304 in FY 23. | assumed an average increase in wages of 3%. | figured that even if some contracts are settled for less, this provides a small cushion for additional items that are funded. | may make a revision as the budget process unfolds and | learn more about what the contracts are settling for. To that end if it’s possible to send me all settled FY 23 contracts that would be helpful. Thank you, Randy Randy Scollins | Finance Director CGA / Treasurer Collector | Town of Canton Treasurer | Revere & Son Heritage Trust Corporation O: 781-575-6612 | E: rscollins@town.canton.ma.us | F: 781-575-6608
