Disregard the 126K number. That quote would be the total cost of all five towns participating in the regional communications center were to convert. However, if not all towns decide to utilize the new software, we can convert individually for 25K. I included an extra 5k for hardware that I may need to purchase in the form of mobile laptop computers. The 25K plus the 5k results in my 30K request. This number includes mobile dispatch and records management and any mobile computers I may need to purchase. G~~ ~. Canton Fire Department
99 Revere Street
Canton, MA 02021
Dear Chief Doody,
Thank you for your interest in the RedNMX Records Management System. Enclosed are the following
proposals for the department based on functions requested during your demonstrations and discussions
with Rick -
CAN-001 RedNMX Records Management System (Mutt-FDID)
CAN-003 RedNMX Mobile Dispatch (Multi-FDID)
These proposals are for budgeting purposes. We can modify them as needed based on the specific
needs of each department. Modules can be added to the system at any time.
We have quoted amulti-FDID system. With amulti-FDID RedNMX System, it would be installed at one
designated department. If there are modules that not every department would need, we can adjust the
system settings so they don't have access to that module in the system. If a department decides to add a
module in the future that other departments shouldn't have access to, we can adjust the settings as well.
Payments options are available such as spreading payments out over multiple years.
We are looking forward to the opportunity to work with the Canton Fire Department and it's neighboring
departments. Please call our office at (585) 264-9080 if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Susan TestanSource page 49

DESCRIPTION:
Upgrade to our station alerting system emanating from the Regional Communications Center.
This project will allow each station to be alerted separately with a unique identifying tone.
PURPOSE AND JUSTIFICATION:
Improvements to our alerting system will improve response times and efficiency. Our current
system is an "all-call" type of alerting system in which crews at both stations must wait to
hear the dispatch information to discern which crews are assigned to the call. Splitting the
stations will allow crews to immediately respond to the alert.

DESCRIPTION•
Purchase 6 sets of structural firefighting gear (turnout gear) which includes boots, pants and coat.
PURPOSE AND ]USTIFICATION:
Multiple studies have demonstrated that firefighters have a statistically higher rate of multiple types of
cancers than the general public. in addition to washing turnout gear, it is necessary for firefighters to
have a second set of structural firefighting gear that can be worn while the primary set is being cleaned
so that they may remain in service. The intent of the turnout gear replacement program is to purchase 6
sets per year which enable department members to have a primary and back up set of gear and avoid
the department requesting a large capital purchase of gear every 5 years.

PROJECT /EQUIPMENT TITLE:

TOTAL PROJECT / EQUIPMENT COST (must be at least $5,000):
$15,000
DESCRIPTION:
Purchase a 3-person watercraft fit out with specialized equipment that allow first responders to perform
rescues and render assistance to people swimming and boating in the Reservoir Pond.
PURPOSE AND JUSTIFICATION:
Currently, the fire department is responsible for responding to emergencies in all bodies of water in
Canton. We must trailer boats to those locations and launch them from difficult areas in order to affect
rescues or render aid. The Reservior Pond is the most utilized body of water in Canton and creates the
biggest response challenge. A rescue jet-ski would allow for a rapid deployment from more locations
and reduce our response time to water emergencies. We utilized Sharon Fire Department's rescue jet-ski
d uring an emergency on the Reservior Pond and were impressed with it's versatility and ease of
deployment.

Doody, Charles E. From: bobskidooinc@comcast.net Sent: Friday, November 16, 2018 7:23 PM To: Doody, Charles E. Subject: Sea Doo Watercraft: Bob's Ski-Doo Attachments: 2019 Sea-Doo Spark.pdf; 2019 Sea-Doo GTiSE.pdf; 2019 Sea-Doo GTX.pdf Chief Doody, Per our recent conversation, I have put together some options and prices for the Town of Canton in regards to Personal Watercraft rescue vehicles. As we discussed, there are several different Sea-Doo watercraft models of varying weights, sizes and price depending on your specific needs. I have provided specifications for three models that I would recommend. For a three person capacity watercraft, there are three main body types: the Spark hull, the GTi hull, and the GTX(ST3) hull. The Sea-Doo Spark is extremely lightweight,(421 lb. dry weight). It is very easy to maneuver, if you need move it around a parking lot on a trailer or walk it across a beach on a trailer for instance. The Sup model has 90hp. With a trailer, the cost of a 3 person Spark would be around $9,200. The GTi hull is bigger and more stable than the Spark hull but is also heavier (7181b dry weight). This model comes in a 90hp, 130hp or 155hp version. In regards to price, the 130hp GTi SE version with a trailer is approximately $11,900 and the 155 GTi SE is approximately $12,500. The largest, most stable hull is the ST3 hull that is found on the GTX 155(768 lb. dry weight). This boat has the most storage area and largest rear platform. It is also extremely stable and allows the driver or passenger to stand on one side or the other without tipping as easily as the other hulls. This boat has a 155hp or 230hp version, however, if you are using the watercraft on smaller bodies of water such as the Canton Reservior, the I SShp version is plenty of power and I would think more power would be un-necessary. The GTX 155 with a hailer is $14,100. I would suggest either the Spark Sup if you are looking for something lightweight and easy to transport, or the GTX 155 if you are looking for the most stable craft when someone is out on the water. I have attached specifications for each model. In regards to accessories, life jackets range in price from $55 each for a basic nylon vest, to $90 each for the neoprene fitted vests. Sea Doo does not make a rescue tow sled for the back of a Sea Doo but there are several companies that make similar products. I have attached a link here for reference: https://liquidshredder.com/product/rescue-pwc-tow-sleds-soft-hybrid Let me know if you need any other pricing or if you have any other questions regarding the Sea Doo line up. We do have different models on display at this time if you would like to stop by and take a look. We are a PLATINiJM certified Sea- Doo dealer. Bob's Ski-Doo &Power Center is the ONLY exclusive single line BRP dealer in Massachusetts. We have specialized in Bombardier Recreational Products for 50 years. We sell Sea-Doo watercraft, Ski-Doo snowmobiles, Can- Am ATVs, Side by Side t~ecreational vehicles and Spyder Roadsters. We are on Route 138 in Easton.
