DESCRIPTION:
Replace fuel pumps, electronic controls, and monitoring system on the existing fuel island at
the Public Works Garage
PURPOSE AND JUSTIFICATION:
The fleet fueling and monitoring system does not meet revised MA EP code requirements.
The fuel dispensers do not have a leak sensor, there is no emergency off switch for the fuel
island, and the high level alarm for tanks must be made visual from outside. This project will
upgrade the fuel dispensing system to meet code and also upgrade outdated SCADA software
control and fuel use reporting system.

QUOTATION & CONTRACT FORM
To: Town of Canton —DPW No. 102912
801 Washington Street In reply, refer to this number
Canton, MA 02021
Date: 10-29-12
'Attention Of: William J. Walsh Jr.
Your Inquiry: Fueling Equipment Upgrade
Gentlemen:
We are pleased to submit quotation on our interpretation of your requirements, subject to
printed on reverse side of this proposal. terms and conditions
Thank you on the opportunity to quote you on upgrading your existing fueling facility. The
quote will be divided into three sections.
Section I, will be cover replacing your existing obsolete Topkat fuel management system with a
Fuelmaster fuel management system. We will also include adding a dispenser leak sensor for the
gasoline and diesel dispensers. The existing dispensers do not have a leak sensor. This will
bring the dispensers up to code. Also there is no existing emergency shut off switch for the
fueling island. We will add one to bring fueling island up to code.
Section II will cover replacing your existing obsolete Gasboy dispensers with Dresser Wayne
dispensers. This section will also include decommissioning your existing phase two vapor
recovery system. The DEP now allows sites that arc replacing their dispensers to decommission
their phase two vapor recovery equipment and use standard nozzles and hoses.
Section III will cover replacing your existing Veeder Root system with a new Veeder Root
TLS300C system. The new console will allow for network connection. We will remove. the
existing Veeder Root hi level alarm from the tank area. It does not meet code being installed in a
hazardous area. We will provide a new hi level alarm with signage and install it on the outside
of the maintenance building.

SECTION I, FUELMASTER FUEL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Thank you for this opportunity to quote you on a FuelMaster AIM2 fuel management system.
The AIM2 system uses AIM modules that are connected to your vehicles on board computer.
The module identifies the vehicle, captures the odometer reading, and many engine codes., It is
automatic and theft proof. It does not require operator interaction, although an operator ID
number can be entered on the key pad of the reader pedestal if operator tracking is desired. The
AIM2 system will also work with keys. The keys can be replaced with AIM2 modules as your
budget allows.
The cost for the standard black keys are $4.20 each. The cost for the colored keys are $4.40 each
and are available in blue, green, orange, and red. Please determine how many keys will be
needed and add the cost to the Fuelmaster quote. I recommend purchasing keys for the vehicles
you intend to use AIM modules on, The installation of the AIM modules could take awhile,
depending on how quick your mechanic installs them. In the mean time the vehicles could fuel
immediately using the keys.
The cost for the AIM 2.4 modules for single tank vehicles are $250.00 each. The cost for two
tank vehicles is $325.00. Please determine how many vehicles will be outfitted with AIM 2.4
modules and add to the above Fuelmaster quote.
Fuelmaster will send a factory representative to train your mechanic on installing AIM modules
on ten vehicles of your choice.
If you decide to just start with a key system only, but have the system AIM2 ready, then deduct
$2,995.00 from the Fuelmaster quote for factory AIM2 training. The training can be ordered and
scheduled at a later time. If you only want a key system and not AIM ready, then deduct an
additional $2,227.00 from the quote,

ready for the town's IT person to connect it to the town's network,
Provide all required explosion proof fittings for the island.
Furnish and install four isolation relays to prevent back feeds to the fuel pumps.
Install new shielded cables from the reader to each dispenser hose for pulse control.
Emergency shut down means for the fuel island. Furnish and install two six pole relays and
enclosure at the wiring box located where the wires go to the fuel island, Run all power and
neutral wires which feed the dispensers, fuel management reader, and submersible pumps
through the relays. In the event of an emergency all power feeding the island will be
disconnected, Furnish and install an all weather proof panic push button control on the side of
the garage facing the fuel island. This button when pushed will disconnect all power. Furnish
and install instructional signs on both sides of each dispenser and at the push button location.
All work will be done in conjunction with an electrical perinit.

Fueling capa Mitres you can depen on down the road
Keeping your fleet on the move depends on reliable, fast access to fuel. Time spent waiting for
an available dispenser or struggling with slow or inefficient fueling equipment can negatively
impact your productivity. And any downtime caused by maintenance or repair issues not only
increases inefficiencies, it raises your Total Cost of Ownership.
Dresser Wayne delivers fueling equipment you can count on to deliver consistent performance
today and tomorrow. We've built the Reliance G6200 Series Mechanical Fleet Dispenser for
reliability and durability by combining time-proven components with a durable cabinet. It stands
up to years of rugged use in the harshest conditions.
SupeNor performance gets veNclIes on the road faster
Engineered for fast fueling capabilities, the Reliance 06200 dispenser: offers high flow rates
up to 22 GPM*. Large capacity inlet/outlet castings, one-inch internal filters and discharge
connections provide superior flow performance. The one horsepower motor on suction models
offers extra capacity which extends the life of the motor. Plus, the micro-accurate positive
displacement two-piston meter is weights and measures sealable and provides precise
measurement at any flow rate.
*Flow rates are maximum test rates at discharge. Actual rates will depend upon application and accessories,Source page 22

Project Overview:
The Town of Canton has asked Hub Technical to propose a solution to create a new
virtualized infrastructure. This new environment will be the basis for building and
migrating the client's new and current environment to a highly manageable and
redundant infrastructure. The solution to be provided will also allow the customer to
create new servers without the cost of purchasing additional hardware. The quantity of
virtual servers that can be created are limited by available resources, however this
solution will provide both scalability and redundancy
Hub Technical is proposing the following solution:
Server hardware will be based on proven HP Proliant Server technology consisting of
two DL360 Gen 8 Servers with (two) eight core processors, 128GB of memory
(expandable), four onboard 1GB network adapters, and four PCIe1GB network adapters.
Utilizing VMware virtualization software in conjunction with the proposed hardware
solution will allow the customer to create server templates, move virtual servers between
physical servers, allow for automatic failover in the event of a physical server failure,
pool resources and if additional resources are available, providing the ability to create
new servers in minutes rather than hours.
Storage will consist of an HP P6300 SAN. With built in virtualization, the EVA P6300 is designed
to improve capacity utilization and be easy to manage. HP P6300 Command View includes Thin
Provisioning, which helps reduce the storage capacity required, to help reduce the number of
disks needed, and thus reduce power and cooling costs. EVA P6300 also offers robust local and
remote replication capabilities with HP P6300 Business Copy and HP P6300 Continuous
Access software. P6300 Business Copy also support Dynamic LUN and RAID migration, where
in one step, the user can change the characteristics of an existing LUN, such as size, RAID
type, disk type while the host I/O operation is active. This feature is useful, for example, to move
data to more space efficient storage tiers or to move a heavily accessed LUN to a different disk
group to improve performance.
It is highly recommended that the HP P6300 Command View software reside on a dedicated
physical server.
