First, the building design and plan for the grounds demonstrate and model sustainable development construction principles of clean energy construction and sustainable design. Second, this design brings Canton closer to achieving Climate Leader Community certification. This will enable the Town to access grants and technical assistance for the continued build out and development of clean energy systems, generation and storage. Third, this project moves Canton toward meeting future decarbonization targets, which are anticipated to be included in the forthcoming Climate Action Plan. For additional information about the survey or the Climate Action Plan, click here for a link on the Town website, or contact Canton Town Planner Taylor "TJ" Torres at ttorres@town.canton.ma.us or call 781-575-6575. That should be the base budget because this year, FY25, | received a 20 year increase that was not accounted for in the base budget for FY26. | included it, along with a step raise and COLA for FY26 so it shows actual. If you want it done differently, please let me know. The requested increases to the insurance accounts are based on projections provided to us by World Insurance (formerly Northstar).
