MAY 1, 2020 TOWN OF CANTON OFFICE OF THE TOWN MODERATOR DECLARATION OF RECESS AND CONTINUANCE OF THE MAY 11, 2020 ANNUAL TOWN MEETING To Whom it May Concern, Please be advised that the Town of Canton Annual Town Meeting, originally scheduled for 7:00 PM on May 11, 2020 at the Morse Auditorium, Canton High School, 900 Washington Street, Canton MA, is recessed and will be continued on June 11, 2020 at the same time and place. The reason for rescheduling the Meeting is the Governor of Massachusetts and the Canton Board of Selectmen have invoked a State of Emergency due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. This Declaration is made this day, May 1, 2020 at the Office of the Town Clerk, Memorial Hall, 801 Washington Street, Canton, MA at 12:30 PM. Please note that this notice may be amended and the date of the Annual Town Meeting may be further extended by the Moderator as allowed by the General Laws.
