Article 43 – Amend Zoning Bylaw

Section 11
    Canton Approved changes to Accessory Dwelling Units at Special
     Town Meeting in 2024. The Regulations were promulgated by the
     Secretary of State on January 30, 2025. There were several
     discrepancies between the adopted text and the promulgated
     regs.
    Articles 43 and 44 are minor in nature as it is administrative changes
     to the section. It will not alter the intent of the section nor the
     applicable setbacks or design regulations.

Article 45, 46, 47 Zoning Map
Amendments
    The proposed Zoning Map Amendments are relative to prior work
     the Town has completed.
    At the 2025 Annual Town Meeting, The Town voted to removed
     portions of Zoning Bylaw Section 9.8 (Canton Center Economic
     Opportunity District (CCEOD))
    Articles 45-47 seek to remove the CCEOD Zones as there is no
     relative text associated with these zones.
