November 20, 2023 @ 7:00 P.M
LOCATION: Canton High School, Morse Auditorium, 900 Washington Street,
Canton, MA
October 13, 2023 (Friday) SB Vote to open warrant for 2023 Special Town Meeting for
zoning and non-zoning articles effective Tuesday October 17, 2023 and close warrant
for zoning and non-zoning articles on Friday, October 27, 2023 @ 10:00 am. (advertise
on October 17th in Patriot Ledger - 10 days prior to close of warrant and October 19th in
the Citizen)
October 18, 2023-November 2, 2023 Finance Committee meets to review warrant and
develop report.
October 27, 2023 (Friday) @ 10:00 am– Warrant closes for zoning and non-zoning
articles
October 27, 2023 (Friday) Draft STM Warrant to be sent to Town Counsel for review.
October 27, 2023 (Friday) Select Board holds meeting 1. votes to refer proposed zoning
articles to the Planning Board; 2. Votes to approve Special Town Meeting Warrant and
execute same; 3. Votes positions on articles.
October 27, 2023 (Friday) Approved Warrant to be sent to the Finance Committee and
Department Heads.
October 30, 2023 (Monday) Warrant must be posted at Post Office and six other places
by this date (21 days in advance of STM).
November 2, 2023 (Thursday) Deadline for submission of Finance Committee draft
motions, to Town Counsel.
November 6, 2023 (Monday) Fin Com report sent to the printer and posted on website.
Week of November 13, 2023 Report w/Finance Committee, Select Board, and Planning
Board recommendations to be delivered to citizens.
