     I.  The following organizational structure will be used by members of the Canton Police
          Department. Following the Chain-of-Command is essential.

     II. The Chief of Police is the head of the organization. The following report to her/him:
            1.  Deputy Chief of Administration
            2.  Deputy Chief of Operations
            3.  Executive Assistant

     III. The following report to the Deputy Chief of Administration
            1.  Municipal Recruits
            2.  Lieutenant in charge of the Family Services Unit

   IV. The following report to the Deputy Chief of Operations
            1.  Lieutenant in charge of Investigations
            2.  Lieutenant in charge of Background Investigations

   V. The following report to the Lieutenant in charge of the Family Services Unit
            1.  School Resource Officers
            2.  Part time animal control officers
            3.  Full-time animal control officer (also a part-time officer)
            4.  Part-time sworn officers (retirees working details)
            5.  Crossing guards
