M Minutes January 15, 2025 4:00 PM Meeting Virtual Meeting -Zoom Chair Michael C. Loughran I Vice -Chair John R. McCourt Clerk Christopher M. Albert I Member Patricia M. Boyden I Member John J. Connolly Also Present: Jennifer Kemalian, Assistant Town Administrator; Laurie Bogue, Administrative Secretary Meeting called to order at 4:00 PM The Chair noted Members Christopher Albert and Patricia Boyden not in attendance. The Chair noted the meeting is being recorded. Approval and execution of Easement agreement between Town of Canton and Massachusetts Department of Transportation for certain town owned parcels located in Stoughton Regen Jamieson, Conservation Agent was before the Board noting that this project has been ongoing for the past couple of years. She presented a map of the parcels that are part of the Route 138 improvement project, being performed by Mass DOT, The parcels are Canton town owned land located in Stoughton. She continued to note it is one acre and through the approval at ATM 2023, article 97, Mass DOT will pay $249,000 for these easements. Motion was made by Mr. McCourt that the Board grant the easement as recommended and presented by the Conservation Agent seconded by Mr. Connolly Roll call vote, 3-0 Mr. Connolly Affirmative Mr. McCourt Affirmative Mr. Loughran Affirmative The Select Board will hold the next meeting on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, 7:00 PM, remotely via Zoom Motion was made by Mr. McCourt that the Board adjourn at 4:06 PM seconded by Mr. J.
