First Item on the Agenda 0) COPPERWORKS — DOG PARK (Bernie Plante, Developer) - Discussion of Creation two (2) dog parks. Mr. Plante introduced himself and explained that he represents Canton Holdings, LLC, holder of the former Plymouth Rubber site. He has worked on guiding and directing the 2015 overlay rezoning of the site. A year ago the Select Board amended the Agreement that housing not commence on the original Lot #8 site, which allows us to make other improvements to the river set back. We did this with help from Lisa Lopez and have looked at alternate sites. We came up with this plan since we own two (2) lots in Heritage Park. One is a lo,000 square foot lot, and the other is a 20,000 square foot lot, which will be for the creation of a dog park. We will be removing the fencing along Neponset Street, near Plymouth Ave., and adding a five (5) foot high chain link fence and remove approximately 4,000 square feet of weeks. We will add approximately 75o feet of walkway paths at the Heritage site; adding striping for twenty-four (24) new spaces; and having parking on Neponset Street. They will have a second access point near the vegetation , and have a vestibule entrance with two (2) gates. Planning Board Minutes April 3, 2024 Page 1 of 6
