Select Board Cxecutive Session Minutes March 29, 2022 Memorial Hall, Salah Meeting Room 801 Washington Street, Canton, MA Present: Chair Michael C. Loughran I Vice Chair Lisa R. Lopez Clerk Thomas W. Theodore I Christopher J. Connolly I John J. Connolly Also Present: Charles J. Aspinwall, Town Administrator and Laurie Bogue, Administrative Secretary Executive Session to conduct strategy with contract negotiations (Town Administrator Contract) if the Chair declares that an open meeting may have a detrimental effect on the negotiating or bargaining position of the public body was called to order at 8:20 PM. The Chair noted to the Board that Mr. Aspinwall is asking to extend his current contract by 2 weeks, to change the retirement date to be September 30, 2022. Motion was made by Mr. Theodore that that the Board extend the retirement date of the current Town Administrator to be September 30, 2022, seconded by Mr. C. Connolly Roll call vote was taken, 5-0 Mr. J. Connolly Affirmative Ms. L. Lopez Affirmative Mr. C. Connolly Affirmative Mr. T. Theodore Affirmative Mr. M. Loughran Affirmative The Chair discussed some potential contract terms for a future Town Administrator. More discussion was had. Motion was made to close and adjourn Executive Session at 8:45 PM, and return to open session for the purpose of adjourning the meeting Roll call vote was taken Ms. Lopez Affirmative Mr. J.
