Board Sign Application — New Sign & Facade at previous Dunkin Donuts
Applicant Wei Zheng; Ricky Zeng, New CC Sign, Quincy, MA
Mr. Zeng introduced himself representing the sign company. They are moving location to
the Dunkin Donuts building at 538 Washington and need to put up a new sign. The Takara
sign is made of black aluminum letter boxes 4" with black trim caps; 3/A" white acrylic
faces with purple vinyl; 3/4" stud mount standoff from the wall: internally illuminated white
LEG lighting ; and the sign measures 28" tall by 153" long, and is 3/16'h inches thick made of
white acrylic and vinyl with aluminum clear backing. They are also proposing a 13.25" tall
by 104.50" long sign which says "Restaurant & Bar" and will be constructed of brown
aluminum light boxes with internal white LED lighting illuminated. He also presented
before and after photos of the location.
Mr. Amrhein suggested, in his opinion, he prefers purple letters instead of white.
