A motion was made by Ms. McDermott, and seconded by Mr. McCarthy to open Item #i.
Motion Approved 4-0.
First Item on the Agenda (1) 72 JACKSON ROAD - Site Plan Review for the
construction of a 2,88o square foot garage (Applicant/Owner: 72 Jackson Street Realty
Trust c/o Michael McHugo) (Chris Cabral, PE, Project Engineer, Crossman Engineering,
North Attleboro, MA)
Attorney Bob Burr introduced himself as representing the Applicant, Mike McHugo. He
explained that Chris Cabral, Crossman Engineering, has worked on the plans for several
weeks. The proposed garage is located southwest of the Canton Junction train station. They
had obtained a 2003 Survey Plan, and had the property resurveyed. They had test pits done
and new drainage, all in accordance with state rules. Further, they moved the building
slightly back to make this conforming; having complied with all commercial and industrial
standards; and decreasing the runoff to the neighbor's property.
Mr. Houston explained that all technical issues have been resolved; the drainage system is in
accordance with the Stormwater Handbook; and the drainage design is up to current
standards. In conclusion, there are no outstanding issues.
