A motion was made by Mr. Panico and seconded by Mr. McCarthy to open Item #1.
Motion Approved 4-0.
First Item on the Agenda (1) 70 GREENLODGE STREET (Milton Hoosic Club)
Attorney Paul Schneiders introduced himself, along with Joe Shea; Timothy Burke; and
Peter Kibble. He stated that all issues have been resolved with the exception of parking,
which the Applicant believes is sufficient.
Mr. Houston stated that he does not agree and feels the parking is not sufficient and the
memo is written in a narrative style and opens up different questions. There are 39 new
seats in the restaurant and one (1) parking space for every two (2) seats. If you are
expanding the kitchen then you will have more employees. The memo also states: "that the
new Clubhouse adds 5,76o square feet of space over two stories for what is best described
as reconfiguration of the dining and bar area, with an increase from 125 seats to 164 seats
(a net increase of 39 seats), an expansion of the kitchen and women's locker areas, and
accessibility additions including a left. The Clubhouse expansion is not linked to increasing
the membership at the club, it is a modernization and improvements initiative."
