Personnel Advisory Board Employees (PAB) - 3%Increase
Mr. Friel explained that PAB employees usually get the same increase as other
employees. He stated that approximately twelve employees would be receiving this
increase. He then provided the various step and grades of each. In particular, he noted
there was a reduced increase from 6% to 4%between steps an accomplishment made via
negotiations a few years ago.
He also brought the new employee health insurance rates to the Board's attention and
asked them to approve of the projected figures. There were increases in the rates for
employees and to the Town this year. Mr. Friel advised the Board that all was being to
curb the dramatic annual increase in health insurance. All cities and town across the state
are experiencing the same difficulties.
