Mr. Aspinwall stated before the Board that there had been discussion with Town Counsel about should
the Affordable Housing Trust be an Article before 2019 Annual Town Meeting. It was noted that Town
Counsel advised that they should look at four areas; authority to borrow, authority to acquire real
estate, authority to accept and expend grants and authority to build buildings. The Board had a
discussion. Attorney DeRensis spoke on the matter, and stated that he advises that language be
included that the power of the Trust be subject to Board of Selectmen Approval. Attorney DeRensis
