The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m.
Motion was made to open the public hearing to amend the traffic rules and regulations on Walpole
Terrace.
Motion: Mr. Feeney Second: Mr. Connolly Vote: 5-0
This public hearing was a follow up to the March 28, 2017 public hearing on amending the traffic rules
and regulations on Walpole Terrace. At that meeting the Board voted to revisit its decision to amend
the traffic rules and regulations after a period of more than six months had passed.
It was noted that there had been some disregard to the temporary parking regulation established by the
Board. Employees of the business located at 40 Walpole Terrace had been ticketed for parking in the
designated drop off area. A resident of Walpole Terrace had visited the Executive office to complain
about the cars being parked all day in the temporary zone. It was noted that no one from the business
located at 40 Walpole Terrace was present at the meeting. The Board discussed removing the 30 min
loading/unloading zone and reinstating the no parking zone in its place.
Motion was made to close the public hearing.
Motion: Mr. Feeney Second: Mr. Connolly Vote: 5-0
