TOWN OF CANTON PLANNING BOARD MEETING WEDNESDAY, MAY 3, 2017 SAI_„AH MEETING ROOM Bol WASHINGTON STREET 7:00 P.M. TOWN FLAALL MINUTES Present: Thomas Scully, Acting Chairman Michael Mitcheroney, Clerk Robert Panico David McCarthy Patricia McDermott Also Present: 'Phomas Houston, Professional Services Corporation Laura Smead, Town Planner Karen Lawlor, Administrative Assistant Acting Chairman Thomas Scully called to order the Planning Board meeting of May 3, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. Mr. Scully stated that he would like to thank Jeremy Comeau for his 15 years of service to the Canton Planning Board. He wanted to welcome and introduce the three (3) elected members to the Planning Board. Bob Panico, who was appointed by the Board of Selectmen for a one-year term last year to fill in for Mr. Jenkins when he left. Mr. Panico was elected for a five (5) year term; David McCarthy who was elected for the three (3) year term; and Patricia McDermott who was elected for the one (1) year term. First Item on the Agenda — 85 ROYALL STREET (ANR Plan) - (Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR)) - (Mark E. Benson, Senior Land Surveyor, Beals & Thomas, Inc.) Mark Benson introduced himself as Senior Land Surveyor from Beals & Thomas, representing the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR). He explained that this is a unique situation dating back to 1985 when the land was conveyed. They are doing a modern survey to satisfy and update the plan and file it in Land Court. This is only the front parcel which has a separate certified of title. A motion was made by Mr. Panico and seconded by Mr. Mitcheroney to Approve the ANR Plan entitled "Plan of Land Being a Division of L.C. Lot 1 as Shown on LCC 31393-A Creating L.C. Lot 6 and L.C. Lot 7 #85 Royall Street Canton MA (Norfolk County), prepared for the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) 251 Causeway Street, Boston, MA 02114; Record Owner(s), Paul T. Driscoll, L.C. Cert. No. 174162 L.C. Doc. No. 1,121,708 (Lot 1 Shown on LCC 31393-A) (Also shown as Lot 4 on Plan Reference 1); prepared by Beals & Thomas, Inc., Reservoir Corporate Center, 144 Turnpike Road, Southborough, MA 01772- 2104; and dated May 31, 2016. Motion Approved 5-0.
