DISCUSSION Mr. Ciccotelli reported that there has been an increase in calls to the Office regarding mold, mold testing, and mold kits. Mold is a naturally occurring process, all houses will have it, and the over-the-counter mold kits will capture mold spores. Mr. Ciccotelli cautioned that this does not mean that there is a mold problem, which will present itself visually, too, such as leeching on walls. The only calls to the Health Office should be in a rental situation where a landlord is refusing to mitigate a mold problem. Homeowners are responsible for taking care of their own mold, and they were reminded to keep areas dry and air circulating. ADDITIONAL ITEMS Next Meeting: The next meeting will be on March 7, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. INFORMATION Adjournment: Upon a motion by Mr. Schneiders, seconded by Dr. Goodman, the Board voted to approve adjourning the meeting at 7:25 p.m. VOTED: 3— 0.
