Motion: Mr. Feeney Second: Mr. Del Vecchio Vote: 5-0 Mr. Burr provided a brief introduction to the subject. The Town currently owns Reservoir Pond. It was conveyed to the Town from Napleton group, the previous owners of Plymouth Rubber site. Now that it is owned by the Town, public access, safety and environmental concerns of Reservoir Pond were all in q uestion. The Town had engaged the Metropolitan Area Planning Counsel to analyze the uses and establish possible rules and regulations for Reservoir Pond. The audience had received two copies of the draft rules and regulations. One was from the MAPC, and the other had Town of Canton Department Heads as well as Town Planner suggestions and comments incorporated in it. The Board invited Mr. Bill Cohen of the Reservoir Pond Advisory Committee, to speak. Mr. Cohen noted that his only comment on the rules and regulations were regarding the open and close times of the gate at the Williams Estate. He would like it to remain open from dawn to dusk. He also noted that he would like to see a wash station for boats to prevent foreign weeds from being introduced to the pond. He explained that the RAPC had a discussion concerning the use of jet skis but the committee could not come to a consensus.
