Chairman Carroll reads the petition stating the Applicant would like to construct a front
portico in a Single Residence `A' district. Ms. Renee Roberts states she is constructing an
addition on her house and would like to add a front portico similar to the one on the
original part of the house. Ms. Roberts states the addition will be 35' from the front and
40' is required. Mr. Pando states this is a more common request from residents and most
houses are built at the setback line. Mr. Pando states the structure is already pre-existing
non -conforming and the Applicant isn't increasing the non -conformity so a Special Permit
would be required. Mr. McCourt concurs with Mr. Pando.
Mr. Pando makes a motion to grant Roberts Revocable Trust / Michael & Renee Roberts
of 7 Shore Drive a Special Permit by extension of a pre-existing non -conforming structure
per section 5.3 of the By -Laws to construct a front portico in a Single Residence `A'
district to be 35' setback from Shore Drive per plan by Site Design Professionals, LLC of
Sharon, MA dated January 20, 2016. Mr. McCourt seconds. Vote 3-0 approve
Canton Housing Authority — 203 Washington Street (PC GP cv)
Mr. Mark Roy, Director of Canton Housing Authority, requests to construct a new shed
behind Hagan Court since the State has given them a grant for a new one. Mr. Roy states
the new shed will be in a different location and the original shed will be demolished once
the new shed is constructed. Chairman Carroll asks what the dimensions are. 12'x 24'
Mr. Pando states he doesn't have any issues and explains the process of getting money
from the State. Mr. Vinciguerra a$ks what the dimensions of the old shed are and if it is
remaining since the plan states it is. Mr. Roy states the old shed is 10' x 12' and it will be
removed and will update the plans.

modification to construct a 12' x 24' new shed at 203 Washington Street per site plan by
