Chairman Jeremy Comeau called to order the Planning Board meeting of
April 1, 2015 at 7:00 p.m.
First Item on the Agenda - THE PRESERVE AT CANTON (formerly Turtle
Creek ) — (Patrick Considine) Lot Release
Mr. Considine introduced himself and explained that there was a bonding issue. He had
wanted to put a piece of property up for bonding but Town Counsel stated it was not
acceptable and he would like to know if the Board would accept a Surety Bond. He
presented to the Board a Draft Performance Bond and see if they would accept this.
A motion was made by Mr. Jenkins and seconded by Mr. Mitcheroney to accept a surety
bond for the Preserve after the bond is approved by Town Counsel at which time the 3rd
signature will be added to the Lot Release Form.
The Board discussed whether to put the name "The Preserve" on the Bond, but since it
was always Turtle Creek, the name should be kept the same.
Next Item on the Agenda - COMMUNITY PRESERVATION COMMITTEE -
Reappointment of Planning Board Member
A motion was made by Mr. Jenkins and seconded by Mr. Mitcheroney to reappoint
Jeremy Comeau as Planning Board Representative for the Community Preservation
Committee. Motion Approved 3 -0.
Mr. Comeau stated that all types of information regarding Plymouth Rubber is on the
Town of Canton Website. Town Meeting begins May 11th and Plymouth Rubber is the
first topic under the Special Town Meeting.
