Present: Chairman Robert Doe (7:20 P.M.), Vice Chairman Deb Sundin, Clerk James Fitzpatrick, Robert MacDonald, Kate Merrigan, Tom Liddy, Dave McLelland Conservation Agent: Robert Murphy Recording Secretary: Heather Cahill Approval of Minutes of March 4, 2009: Motion Made by Deb Sundin to accept the minutes of March 4, 2009 as amended. Seconded by Kate Merrigan Vote: Yes — 5 No-0 R.MacDonald Abstention Public Hearings 7:10 P.M. DCR/ Ponkapoag Golf Course 2167 Washington Street DEP # 124-1036 Represented by Don Cranshaw of DCR, Sam Whitin And Matt Richardson of EA Engineering, Plans Submitted to Concom. DCR and EA Engineering are working together to repair, replace and restore Ponkapoag Golf Course and bring back to the original design of Donald Ross course one. Matt explained to ConCom what is needed to bring course back to original design: • Raise fairways of six holes. • Reduce height of walls near Weir system • Retention basin to be installed • Existing drainage ditches to be repaired and restored to original condition (historic only). 1
