TOWN OF CANTON PLANNING BOARD MEETING WEDNESDAY, MAY 77 2014 SALAH MEETING ROOM X7:00 P.M. TOWN HALL MINUTES Present: Jeremy Comeau, Chairman Christopher J. Connolly George Jenkins Michael Mitcheroney Also present: Thomas Houston, Professional Services Corporation Chairman Jeremy Comeau called to order the Planning Board meeting of May 7, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. First Item on the Agenda — 633 CHAPMAN STREET (Scenic Way Tree Removal Application) (Mark Porter) Mark Porter explained he purchased his house last year. He would like to remove the dead trees which have holes and downed branched and he will replace the trees and replant two (2) trees further back on his property. His home is located on a scenic way and the trees are located on Town property. He would also like to install a solar roof on his home. The Board explained that he will need a declaration from the Engineering Department and the Board voted to send a positive recommendation for the trees to be removed on the Scenic Way with the conditions that the Tree Warden /Town Engineer approve of this removal and trees will be planted to replace what is being removed during the next planting season. Motion Approved.
