Chairman Jeremy Comeau called to order the Planning Board
meeting of February 12, 2014 at 7:00 p.m.
1St Item on the Agenda - 955 TURNPIKE STREET (Michael Khoury,
Esq.; Greg Driscoll, Holmgren Engineering; John K. Holmgren;
James Berish, Berish Properties.
Attorney Michael Khoury introduced himself and explained that they have
addressed most or all of the comments and would like to move forward to request
closure to this hearing. They are proposing two (2) buildings, one 1700 square
foot retail and restaurant in the front; and a 40,000 warehouse for industrial use
in the rear.
There are wetlands at the southeast corner of the property and conservation is
issuing an Order of Conditions. The hearing is closed but the Order has not been
signed yet, and they have addressed all concerns. The Conservation Commission
has conditions that additional test pits for drainage be sprinkled in the parking
lot area.
Dave Sanderson stated that PSC has a few issues with the traffic study and will
call Jack tomorrow regarding these issues. The biggest issue they have is the test
pits. The test pits are to be provided before a Building Permit is issues.
