Chairman Jeremy Comeau called to order the Planning Board
meeting of March 19, 2014 at 7:00 p.m.
First Item on the Agenda - 7o HUDSON ROAD (Pat's Contracting)
Requesting Recommendation on Plans Detailing Outdoor Storage and
landscaping (Paul A. Schneiders, Attorney) was continued until May
19, 2014.
Attorney Schneiders introduced the owner, Mr. Shea, and John Glossa from
Glossa Engineering. Mr. Glossa explained that the Zoning Board was concerned
and Mr. Houston did a review of the outside storage and drainage that was
omitted from the original plans. The plans are a little different and the building
was turned to create a storage area because the rear of the lot has a very steep
hill and there are also vegetative wetlands. There are piles of fill which some of
been removed and the rest will be removed later in the summer and fall.
The Applicant is in compliance with the zoning by -laws and the new plans show
where the parking and storage of equipment will be. The infiltration basin is a
little bigger; they have added some catch basins; and there are transformers for
underground utilities. The different pieces of equipment are identified and also
the different bins which hold loam, gravel and stone. The fence completely
encloses the property with a sliding gate to access the property.
