TOWN OF CANTON PLANNING BOARD MEETING WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 15, 2014 SALAH MEETING ROOM 7:00 P.M. TOWN HALL MINUTES Present: Jeremy Comeau, Chairman Kristin Mirliani, Vice Chairman Chris Connolly George Jenkins Also present: Tom Houston, Professional Services Corporation Karen Lawlor, Planning Board Administrative Assistant Chairman Jeremy Comeau called to order the Planning Board meeting of January 15, 2014 at X7:00 p.m. 1St Item on the Agenda - Otis Way: Cost to Complete - Paul Feldman (Tom Houston, PSC) Mr. Houston explained that Mr. Feldman needs to give $400 to the Board to be placed in escrow to cover the Cost to Complete. This subdivision was started seven (7) years ago and there is no Bond, surety or a lot being held. Mr. Houston did a Cost to Complete and the majority of the money for completion is in the pavement. Mr. Feldman is completing the last house in the subdivision and will be looking for a CFO in two to three weeks. Mr. Houston estimated the cost to complete to approximately $38,500 which includes a 15% increase to cover any extra costs. A motion was made by Mr. Jenkins and seconded by Mr. Connolly to accept a cash deposit in the amount of $36,500 to cover the completion of the subdivision. Motion passes 4 -0.
