Mr. Lague, Library Director, noted he was requesting capital funding for replacing eight staff computers

some interior painting to be done which would also cost $10,000. This request has been reviewed by
the Information Systems Division.

Ms. Elkort returned to the meeting.
Louis Jutras, MIS Director, explained that he was requesting capital funding for five items totaling
$75,000. The items were desktop computer replacement (30 systems) for $31,000, server replacement

Request for Approval - Proposed new layout of Wayside Lane — Fred Geisel, PE, Civil Environmental
Consultants LLC
Mr. Friel made the Board aware that this request is to amend the layout of a street to provide access to
a new development. This amendment to the layout has not been approved by the Planning Board and
the BOS office received a letter from the Planning Board asking that the BOS not take action until the
Planning Board has had a chance to review the new layout.
The developer, Pat Considine, and Fred Geisel, PE, Civil Environmental Consultants LLC showed the plan
to the Board and explained the layout. They explained that this amendment to the layout had been
approved by the DPW Superintendent and the Town Engineer but varied from what had been presented
to the Planning Board originally. Mr. Considine was asking for a decision to be made as he had waited a
long time for approval of this development and wanted to get the project under way.
The Board discussed the matter. They were generally in support of the DPW Superintendent and Town
Engineer's decision, but did not want to ignore the Planning Board's request to review the layout. They
discussed holding a special meeting so that the developer would not have to wait much longer to begin
his project.
Motion was made to hold a special meeting on December 6, 2013 at 4:15 p.m. to vote upon the new
layout of Wayside Lane, after the Planning Board has had a chance to review the plan and make
comment on it known to the BOS.
