Present: Gerald A. Salvatori, Jr., Chairman, Avril T. Elkort, Vice-Chairman, Robert E. Burr, Jr., John J. 
Connolly, Member, William T. Friel, Town Administrator, Jennifer Bright, Administrative Secretary. 
Meeting was called to order at 3:10 p.m. 
The meeting purpose was for BOS to consider and vote the Tax Classification of properties. 
It was noted that Mr. Del Vecchio was not in attendance due to a work commitment. 
Classification Hearing — Board of Assessors, Karen Zukauskas, Deputy Assessor 
Karen Zukauskas, Deputy Assessor and Dan Flood, Board of Assessors, presented to the Board of 
Selectmen, their recommendation on the tax rate for fiscal 2014. Ms. Zukasukas provided the Board 
with a spreadsheet detailing the tax rate recommendation. She explained that the Assessors were 
recommending a 1.65 shift, which is the same shift as last year. The recommended residential tax rate is 
$12.87 and the recommended commercial tax rate is $26.52. 
Motion was made to approve the recommendation of the Board of Assessors and establish the Fiscal 
2014 residential tax rate as $12.87 and the 2014 commercial tax rate as $26.52. (see attached from 
Board of Assessors) 
Motion: Mr. Burr Second: Ms. Elkort Vote: 4-0 
Motion was made to adjourn the meeting at 3: 16 p.m.
