The Board asked James Marathas for an update on the situation with the restaurant and the liquor

Mr. Marathas talked about actively trying to sell the business and the liquor license. He noted that the
first opportunity didn't work out with a potential buyer, Ronan Drury, due to the parking issue. Mr.
Marathas claimed that there was another buyer who also wouldn't buy the restaurant due to the
parking issue. Mr. Marathas discussed again his opinion of the failure of Town Officials to take action

The second buyer who had been in discussions with Mr. Marathas regarding the sale of his business,

and restaurant regardless of any parking issue and/or the availability of the liquor license, but would like
the liquor license if available.
There was a discussion between the Board of Selectmen and Attorney Fallon. Attorney Fallon was
informed by Chairman Salvatori that his comments were getting too far off subject, but he disregarded
the direction and was therefore ruled out of order. Chairman Salvatori advised Attorney Fallon that if he
did not limit his comments to the specific matter before the Board he was no longer welcome to
continue to speak as his comments did not pertain to the matter before the Board of Selectmen.
Mr. Ed Jastrem, Forge Pond Condominium resident, and member of the Board of Directors of the Condo
Association, spoke in opposition to allowing Mr. Marathas to keep the liquor license.
Attorney Fallon then asked if he could speak and was informed by Chairman Salvatori that was welcome
to speak if he agreed to keep his comments pertaining to the matter before the Board. Attorney Fallon
emphasized that the prior speaker was a Trustee at the Forge Pond Condo Association.
Motion was made to again continue the hearing to a special meeting on Nov 12th. The BOS has provided
a time frame of by the end of the day Friday, November 8th for receipt of a completed application by
