Extend entryway and add front steps – seeks dimensional requirements relief on front
yard. The petitioner wants to add a breezeway, bump out landing, adding cover (enclose
landing and stairs). This is a pre-existing non-conforming building now. Chairman
Carroll said you are 33 ft from the property line now and will be 26ft after the work. Mr.
Marini asked if the red area is the proposed work. Chairman Carroll said you will be 26ft
from the property line, your district has 40ft requirement. Did your neighbors talk to
you? Mr. MacDonald said all but one is in favor. Chairman Carroll said he had a list of
abutters in favor. This is pretty straightforward. Mr. Pando said it is a delightful

into other areas. You can move downstairs anytime you want, no relief needed. The
nd
petitioner asked if she could add a kitchen. If you have separate utilities, 2 mailbox,
another family lives there. The petitioner said the upstairs would remain vacant unless
her son comes home. She will do the work now, it is a matter of time before she must
move downstairs. Chairman Carroll said the problem is if you bring in other people.
You asked for accessory apt., 2 family in a single family district. Do the neighbors have
any concerns? Mr. Pando said there is no provision in our by-laws for an in-law
accessory apartment. When rented, multiple kitchens, living units, the trigger is non-
