Chairman Carroll opened the meeti ng at 7:03.
Chairman Carroll said that Canton was denied appellate relief on 40B Roseland project.
Mark Bobrowski will come in to discuss with the Board at the next meeting. This will be
a closed session, at 6:45pm. Mr. Pando stated that the Roseland project/40B application
on Randolph Street was for 300 units of housing, moderate income 40B units. We have
exhausted our last appeal. There were traffic, and infrastructure issues. We will discuss
alternatives, and logistics. Chairman Carroll read the agenda items.

represents the landlord and agreed to continue to tonight. It is ok to move forward with
Atty. Schneiders, who represents the petitioner. Chairman Carroll said that you requested
40 games. There are concerns about that. You have a dedicated back room? How many
games? Mr. Marini stated he wanted a plan, showing traffic pattern through the
restaurant (and the bar?). Will there be some kids by themselves? NO, per Joe Muresco,
the petitioner, they are only allowed if accompanied by an adult. How are you going to
restrict this? We would not allow it, per Mr. Muresco. No one under 21 is allowed in bar,
no one under 18 in restaurant without an adult. Mr. Marini said that the Charlie Horse
has lots of kids, no parent. Joe stated that his business is different than the Charlie Horse.
John Marini said that “you ripped walls out, all one room now. Kids walk through the
bar”. There is a hostess station to prevent this, they walk you to the table, stated the
petitioner. Per the Chairman, this plan is not clear. It was 40 games, now 25. Atty.
Schneiders would accept restrictions to amend, modify or revoke. We are not looking to
put people out of business. The petitioner stated it is not our intention to have
unaccompanied children in the room. I work with troubled children. Mr. Marini stated
he is not comfortable with this. Is the lounge door open? Can kids walk in? Mr. Pando
asked if it was open to all patrons? Yes, per the petitioner. Mr. Pando said that he could
not support this. You have function rooms, bar room, parties, you will have mixed use in
this area, some drinking alcohol at the same time as minor children. I do not support this.
Chairman Carroll reminded th e petitioner that this must be a unanimous vote. The
