Minutes of the Meeting of June 14, 2007

 Mr. Carroll opened the meeting at 7:00 p.m. in the Salah Hearing Room, 
Memorial Hall. 
 
Criterion Canton Apartments – Windsor Woods Lane 
 
 Mr. Jamie Pennington of Criterion Development came before the Board 
representing the petitioner. He stated the building commissioner wanted him to come 
before the Board prior to the issuance of the first certificate of occupancy to see if the 
Board has any questions or concerns regarding the project. He stated all of the units are 
constructed at some level but only the first building is getting to the certificate of 
occupancy state. 
 
 Mr. Carroll stated obviously they want to get going on the first building while the 
construction on the second and third buildings is being finished. He stated he went to the 
site and noticed shelters on the left and asked what they are. 
 
 Mr. Pennington stated they are carports. He stated it will be more apparent when 
they are more completed. He stated there are no garages and a small number of people 
will have carports. 
 
 Mr. Carroll asked how many units in total. 
 
 Mr. Pennington stated there are 159 units. 
 
 Mr. Carroll stated he noticed a leasing office on site. 
 
 Mr. Pennington stated there is a leasing office on site and their first move in is 
th 
scheduled for June 30. He stated the Fire Department has been heavily involved in the 
project to make sure it is safe and habitable and a pleasant place to live.
