They will be placed on the August 8, agenda. 2 " d item on the Agenda - Knob Hill. Cost to Complete (Paul Brodmerkle, Engineer). Dave Sanderson, Professional Services Corporation, explained that Tom Houston had a meeting with the Town Engineer, Jim Donovan, the Engineering Department and the Sewer Department. They put together a new Knob Hill Estates Subdivision - Cost of Proposed Repairs Punch List. There are three (3) separate columns which include: Sewer Department Punch List; Highway Department Punch List; and PSC Punch List. The total cost of everything that needs to be done comes out to $450,000.00 which includes pavement. The amount of the Bond is approximately $111,000.00. Mr. Connolly explained that our last meeting with Knob Hill the Applicant left the meeting and it was decided that Tom Houston would have a meeting with the Engineering and Sewer Departments to go over the cost to complete the subdivision. Most important is that the Board is trying to get the street accepted at the next Town Meeting in April, 2013. We'now have a huge gap between the $111,000.00 and the $450,000 figure on this proposed list.

Planning Board Minutes of July 18, 2012 Mr. Comeau explained that this is the first time seeing this list, and it looks like the Planning Board needs to talk with the Board of Selectmen ( "BOS ") and Bill Friel. The Board of Selectmen oversees the Engineering Department, so we need to talk with them, explain the discrepancy in the figures and see what they feel should be done to get this development accepted at the next Town Meeting. Mr. Vinciguerra was concerned with who is making the determination. Who picks and chooses what needs to be done, and will the $111,000.00 allow this to development to be accepted? This list comes out to $450,000 and we only have approximately $111,000.00. He doesn't really know how we should go about this. Dave Sanderson stated that there might be a few different options, and one unpopular option for the landowners would be that they be responsible for the amount needed to finish this project. Mr. Comeau stated that we need to get the BOS involved and be put on their Agenda. There are three different lists and the BOS has the authority over the Sewer and Highway Departments and also, street acceptance. He also said that he would call one or two of the Selectmen tonight if this meeting does not get out too late and discuss the situation with them. This has been going on for sixteen (16) years and the BOS needs to be involved. Mr. Vinciguerra stated that all we want is to see the money spent and everything on the list should to be completed. All the departments need to come to some agreement, but we, as a Board, can't make this call ourselves. Bob Mario of 35 Knob Hill Circle stated that he thought the developer had $78,000.00 and this was almost a done deal to have the work completed and the streets accepted at Town Meeting. This development is sixteen (16) years old and there have been little or no repairs to the roads and this is also a lack of maintenance issue. Mr. Connolly explained that what the developer was proposing to do with the $78,000.00, he would have still been short to make the repairs and he would not have met the approval to have the streets accepted at Town Meeting. Now that we are working with the BOS this is going to happen and we will get this project completed. Mr. Vinciguerra stated that all he wants is to see the money spend correctly and everything on the list be completed. We cannot make this call ourselves and we need to come to some agreement. This has been sixteen (16) years and we didn't have the 2
