BOARD OF SELECTMEN MINUTES
February 22, 2005
MEMORIAL HALL

Present: John Connolly, Chairman, Avril T. Elkort, Vice-Chairman; Robert E. Burr, Jr.,
Clerk; Victor D. Del Vecchio, Member; William T. Friel, Town Administrator; and Judy
Nelson, Administrative Secretary

Streetscape Grant Project Oversight Committee: Draft Report - Gerald Salvatori,
Chairman:

Mr. Salvatori informed the Board that the bid documents have been received. The next step will
be for the Town Planner, Town Engineer, and Superintendent of Public Works to review these
documents, compare, contrast, and recommend the top five candidates. At that time, the Town
Planner, Town Engineer, and Superintendent of Public Works will then go the next step breaking
it down into the top two candidates who will be placed on a future Agenda for Public Interview.

Mr. Salvatori noted that up until this point, the Committee members have done an outstanding job
in bringing this project to this point.

Council on Aging - Update on Building Status: Diane Tynan-Corleto; Carol Volpe:

The Court Street Architect Firm showed the Board what the preliminary space needs of the
proposed Senior Center would be. They gave a brief presentation of the site plan, floor plan, and
what the overall project costs would be for the proposed Senior Center. The Board thanked the
Council on Aging for taking the time to present and update the Board to this point in time as to
the status of this project. (see the packet attached hereto and therefore made a part hereof).

Class II - License Renewal: A.N.Y. Corp. d/b/a Liberty of Canton Auto Sales located at 705
Turnpike Street, Canton, MA:

Motion was made to renew A.NY. d/b/a Liberty of Canton Auto Sales located at 705 Turnpike
Street contingent upon the payment of any/all outstanding monies owed to the Town.
