to the Town of Canton.

opened a few weeks ago and is very happy to be located in Canton. He introduced Mr. Crohn who
is the Customer Service Manager for this branch.

Mr. Connolly welcomed T.D. Banknorth and noted he hoped they would become a "local
friendly" bank willing to work with the residents as our other local banks do.

Human Resources: Tri-Care for Life: Gayle McCracken, Human Resource Administrator:

Mr. Friel introduced Ms. McCracken our Human Resource Administrator. Ms. McCracken
briefed the Board on this aspect of medical assistance. She noted that letters have gone out to the
employees/retirees who are eligible for this.

Mr. Salvatori questioned who exactly would be eligible for this benefit. Mrs. Elkort noted that
there were not a lot of people with twenty years of active service. Mr. Friel noted that there were
actually twelve people town-wide that would meet the criteria. He noted that this was being
presented as an educational and informational piece.

The Board askcd that Ms. McCracken research this further and give a more detailed analysis of
this benefit.

Policy Number II-30(M): Subject: Personal Relationships/Nepotism: Gayle McCracken
Human Resource Administrator:

Ms. McCracken noted that the Human Resource Policies were last done in 2002. She noted that
since this time a lot has changed including new laws that have come into effect.

Ms. McCracken gave a brief summary of this policy. She thanked the Board for their input on this
and asked that they review same and take it under advisement.

Mr. Friel noted that this would not pertain to the "Civil Service" employees as their policies are
different. He noted that this would require some "grandfathering" as the town already does have
some departments in which this already exists. He noted that this would affect the new
hires/promotions.
