PUBLIC HEARING - All alcoholic license for Pete's Place - Peter Bersani, owner; Dick Staiti Mr. Connolly read the official notice. Mr. Staiti stated for the record that he was representing Mr. Peter Basani of Pete's Place, located at 614 Washington Street. The request would be for an approval of an all-alcoholic license. Mr. Del Vecchio said that he was happy that the site would be utilized for another restaurant, which he felt would be a positive addition to the town. Ms. Elkort questioned Mr. Basani on the basement structures, in particular the subterranean portion located underneath the sidewalk. She explained that the previous owner used it as office space. Ms. Elkort had some reservations about such a usage in the future.
