If a new or changed use allowed in the Canton Center Economic Opportunity District is unable to meet the off-street parking requirements, it may be required as a part of a Special Permit to pay an annual fee per space (ranging from $50 to $100 per space each year) to the Town’s Traffic -26- Management revolving fund. The accrued money from this fund will help finance additional public parking spaces, improve the utilization of existing public parking spaces, or reduce the need for new parking in the Canton Center Economic Opportunity District through “Complete Streets” projects.
