11.6 Shoulders – Suitable excavated material shall be placed in layers not to exceed six (6) inches in depth and Compacted. Shoulders 114 shall be re-constructed to their existing condition and either loamed with six (6) inches of loam, limed, fertilized and seeded with roadside grass mix or covered with four (4) inches of wood chips as directed by the Awarding Authority Representative.
