Section 1. Digging or Other Alterations in a Public Way No person shall break or dig up the ground in any street for any purpose whatever, or set or place any fence, post, tree, or edgestone, or alter or change the grade or width of any public way, without the written license of the Select Board, which shall prescribe the limitations or restrictions of such license.
