Section 3. Conflict of Interest 6-3 No town officer, employee, or member of any town board or committee, shall in their official capacity make or pass upon or participate in making or passing upon any sale contract, agreement, license or permit, in which they, directly or indirectly, has any personal or financial interest. A violation of any provision of this section shall in addition to the penalties provided in Article I, Section 1, hereof render the sale, contract, agreement, license or permit, in respect to which such violation occurred, voidable on behalf of the Town at the option of the Select Board.
