Section 6. Notice of Town Votes to General Court 5-6 The Town Clerk, as soon as possible after a vote of the Town has been passed which requires a special legislative act in accordance with the provisions of Section 8 of Article 89 of the amendments to the State Constitution, shall notify in writing, the State Representative and State Senator of the district in which the Town is situated, and shall provide said representative and senator with a certified copy of said vote, and any other information necessary to ensure that the legislation is promptly and properly filed. 5-6 Inserted under article 41, ATM 1982. 16
